The Mediterranean and Gulf Insurance and Reinsurance Co.’s (MedGulf) board of directors accepted on Oct. 8 the resignation of chief executive Abdulrahman Al-Zwaidi, the insurer said in a statement.

 

The resignation, which was submitted on the same day, will come into effect as of Nov. 4, it added.

 

The firm will reveal the new CEO at a later date, after obtaining regulatory approvals, the statement added.

 

According to data compiled by Argaam, Al-Zwaidi was appointed CEO in May this year.
