Saudi Arabia will offer national health insurance soon to improve the quality of medical services, the Saudi Press Agency said on Thursday, citing health minister Tawfiq Al-Rabiah.

The healthcare sector will be regulated by the ministry, while medical services will be independently provided.

Digital healthcare will be the main pillar for transformation of medical services, Al-Rabiah said in a speech during the digital healthcare conference held in Riyadh.
