Top 7 contracts awarded in Saudi Arabia in February 2019

Saudi Aramco awards engineering deals for its Ras Al Khair project

State-owned Saudi Aramco has awarded major contracts to two consortiums to carry out the engineering and construction works at King Salman International Complex for Maritime Industries & Services in Ras Al Khair. The maritime complex is a joint venture between Saudi Aramco, the National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri), UAE-based Lamprell plc, and South Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. Ltd.

Saudi Aramco awards offshore EPCI contract to McDermott

Houston-based technology, engineering and construction solutions provider McDermott International has been awarded a contract from Saudi Aramco for engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) services in the Marjan field, offshore Saudi Arabia. The contract includes the design, procurement, fabrication, and installation, testing and pre-commissioning of the TP-10 tie-in platform, six gas lift topside modules and associated pipeline and subsea cables.

ADES International wins two onshore drilling deals in Saudi Arabia

ADES International Holding has secured two onshore drilling contracts in Saudi Arabia, the oil and gas drilling and production services provider said in a statement. Each of the secured contracts has tenure of seven years that will add a total estimated backlog of $150 million, the statement said. Operations are due to commence in second half of 2019.

Saudi Airlines Catering inks SAR 500 mln deal with Saudia

Saudi Airlines Catering Co. signed a contract with Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) to design, build and operate Alfursan International lounge at Jeddah’s new King Abdulaziz International Airport. The ten-year contract will come into effect upon the lounge launch, Saudi Airlines Catering said in a bourse statement. The deal provisional value is estimated at SAR 500 million.

Al Khaleej Training bags SAR 18 mln contract from Airbus Defense

Al Khaleej Training and Education Co. has inked a SAR 17.85 million worth of contract with Airbus Defense and Space GmbH, the company said in a bourse filing. Under the three-year deal, Al Khaleej will provide English language training courses to 3,500 of the Saudi Arabian National Guard Forces, as per the contract signed between Airbus and the Saudi Ministry of Interior.

Saudi transport ministry inks SAR 5 bln road contracts

Saudi minister of transport, Nabil Al Amoudi, has signed 88 road contracts worth over SAR 5.1 billion, the ministry said in a statement. The projects are distributed all over the Kingdom, out of which 15 projects are intended to be in Riyadh at a cost of SAR 604 million, 15 in Makkah valued at SAR 984 million and 13 in Asir with a budget of SAR 822 million.

Arabian Pipes wins SAR 229 mln steel pipe deal from Saudi Aramco

Arabian Pipes Co. announced that it has been awarded a contract worth SAR 229 million for supplying longitudinal submerged arc-welded (LSAW) pipes to Saudi Aramco. The supply of pipes will commence from the third quarter of 2019 from APC factory in Jubail Industrial City, the company said in a bourse filing.
