Knowledge City widens H1 2022 losses to SAR 15.4 mln; Q2 loss at SAR 8.6 mln

Knowledge Economic City (KEC) widened H1 2022 net losses to SAR 15.4 million, from SAR 71,000 in the year-earlier period.

This was triggered by higher other income in Q2 2021, resulting from SAR 15.5 million in revenue from liquidating a contractor’s letter of guarantee. In addition, Q2 2022 was also impacted with the expenses pertaining to the ongoing projects.

 

KEC swung to SAR 8.6 in net losses in Q2 2022 from SAR 4.69 million in net profit in a year-earlier period.

 

On a sequential basis, net losses deepened by 28.4% from SAR 6.73 million in Q1 2022.
