Banque Saudi Fransi shareholders approve 8.5% cash dividend for H2 2021, 3 mln share buyback
Banque Saudi Fransi (BSF) shareholders approved the board of directors’ recommendation to pay cash dividend at 8.5% of capital, or SAR 0.85 a share, for H2 2021, during the extraordinary general meeting (EGM) held on June 12, according to a bourse filing.

Shareholders also authorized the board of directors to pay interim dividends for 2022 on a semi-annual or a quarterly basis.
Meanwhile, they ratified a buyback of maximum 3 million shares to be allocated for the employee incentive program. The share repurchase will be financed from internal resources and the board is authorized to complete the buyback within a maximum of 12 months.
The bank will retain the shares for 10 years maximum from the EGM date. After the period expires, the bank will follow the procedures stipulated in the relevant laws and regulations. This program complements the board’s relevant approval on May 1, 2019.
