US rig count drop to lowest level since January: Baker Hughes

The US drilling rig count decreased by nine units to 480 in the week ended April 11, Baker Hughes energy services firm said in its closely followed report.

 

This is the lowest level for the US rig count since January.

 

Meanwhile, the gas rig count rose by one to 97 in the same week.
