Baker Hughes says US oil rigs rise for 2nd straight week

Oilfield services firm Baker Hughes said on Friday, April 25, that its weekly US rig count was up by two rigs to 483 rigs. This marked an increase for the second consecutive week. 

 

The number of rigs drilling for natural gas was also up, rising by one to 99 for the week.
