Saudi King Salman extended on Sunday a number of initiatives with respect to expat visas and residence permits (Iqama), as part of the Kingdom’s measures to mitigate the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on investors, individuals and the private sector.
King Salman ordered extending final exit visas for expatriates for free, according to an official source at the Ministry of Interior.
He also extended invalid residence permits for expats outside the Kingdom, in exit and re-entry visas, which are set to expire during the suspension of entry and exit from the Kingdom, for three months without charge.
Moreover, the exit and re-entry visas, which are unused by expats during the suspension of entry and exit from the Kingdom, are also extended for three months without charge.
