Alkhaleej Training to offer tuition fee discounts for academic year 2020-21

Alkhaleej Training and Education Co.’s board of directors decided on Aug. 19, 2020, to provide a discount on the first-semester tuition fee for the academic year 2020-2021 for students in first grade in Rowad Al Khaleej Schools.

The company said in a bourse statement that a discount ranging from 20% to 35% will also be offered for the rest of the grade levels.

The school will be offering free evening lessons and other academic programs and features to make the distance learning process more useful and distinctive.

The decision will have a financial impact on the next fiscal year. However, it cannot be determined currently, as the impact will vary depending on the student number throughout the academic semester.

The move is in line with the Ministry of Education’s plan to start the first semester online, the statement said, highlighting the company’s aim to share the impact caused by COVID-19 with parents and maintain the students’ base to serve long-term plans.
