Saudi Minister of Finance approves national rules of origin

Mohammed Al-Jadaan, Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA), approved the national rules of origin.

 

On his official Twitter account, Al-Jadaan said the rules will help boost the local content through supporting the national industry and enhancing the sustainable development.

 

The decision came after coordination with the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Commerce, and the General Authority for Foreign Trade. The decision is effective from its issuance date until the decision of unified Gulf rules of origin is issued and comes into effect, the official gazette reported.
