Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources said valid mining licenses reached 1,865 until October.
In a statement, the ministry indicated that these licenses included 1,058 licenses for building materials quarries, 615 detection licenses, 169 licenses for mining and small-scale mining, and 23 exploration licenses.
The number of new licenses issued in October stood at 101, including 944 for building materials quarries, five for detection and two for exploration.
The ministry added that these indicators reflect growth and sustainability in the Kingdom’s mining industry and the positive impact of the mining investment law.
