SABB Takaful shareholders elect board members for new 3-year term

SABB Takaful Co.'s shareholders elected members of the board of directors for the upcoming three-year term, starting June 13, 2022, during the ordinary general assembly meeting held on June 13, according to a bourse statement.

The elected board members include Mohammed Abdul Aziz Alshaya, Feras Abalkhail, Ayman Wajeeh Altaweel, Salman Ahmad Akbar, Faris Fehied Al Shareef, Maha AlSudairi, and Mohammed Abdulrahman Almousa.

The shareholders also approved the formation of audit committee for the same term, with members including Salman Ahmed, Abubaker Bagabir, Khalid Althekair, and Yousef Alzaydi.

Meanwhile, they approved the board and auditor reports, and financial statements for 2021.

Shareholders also approved to discharge the board members from liability for 2021.

In addition, they ratified the appointment of Alkharashi & Co. Certified Accountants & Auditors and PKF Ibrahim Ahmed Al Bassam and Co Allied Accountants as external auditors to review and audit the company’s financial statements for Q2 and Q3 2022, annual financials for 2022 and Q1 2023.
