TADCO names Majid Al-Suwaigh as Chairman

Tabuk Agricultural Development Co.’s (TADCO) board of directors decided, in a meeting on Sept. 3, to appoint Majid Al-Suwaigh (independent member) as Chairman, to replace Al-Waleed Al-Shathri (non-executive member).

 

 The decision is effective as of Sept. 3, 2023, the company said in a statement on Tadawul.

 

Al-Suwaigh holds a Master’s degree in Islamic Finance from the General Council of Banks and Financial Institutions, a Bachelor’s degree in Japanese from King Saud University. He also holds a Masterclass in Building Organizational Leadership that Leads Change and Implementing Strategy from INSEAD Professional University - College of Business Administration.

 

He has more than 25 years of experience in the financial, economic, and administrative field in banks, financial investment companies, and entrepreneurship, and in the field of consulting, management, strategic planning for companies, training, and technical and financial analysis.

 

He also held the presidency and membership of boards and committees in many listed companies, the statement added.

 

Al-Shathri was reappointed as Chairman in July 2021, according to data compiled by Argaam.

 

TADCO’s shareholders refused to discharge board members from liability for the fiscal year ended Dec. 31, 2022.
