Oil tanks
US crude oil inventories increased in the week ended Oct. 20, while gasoline inventories rose and distillate stocks fell during the same period.
Crude oil rose 1.4 million barrels last week, compared to expectations of an increase by 239,000 barrels, data from the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) showed.
US gasoline inventories also increased by nearly 200,000 barrels, while distillate stocks fell 1.7 million barrels.
