Fuel prices are the lowest in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, when compared to neighboring Gulf countries, for May.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has the highest prices for the month.
Oman came second, followed by Qatar - which kept May fuel prices unchanged - and Bahrain.
Super grade petrol (98 octane) in Saudi Arabia costs $0.24 (SAR 0.90) a liter. In Kuwait, it costs $0.34 a liter. However, the cost of the same grade is $0.55 a liter in the UAE.
Oman followed with $0.52 a liter, then Qatar and Bahrain with $0.47 and $0.43 a liter, respectively.
Saudi Arabia is expected to hike retail gasoline and diesel prices this year for the second year in a row, as part of its plan to reduce oil dependence.
No timeline, however, was given for the change.
