MetLife AIG ANB appoints new board member

MetLife AIG ANB Cooperative Insurance Co.’s board of directors appointed on Tuesday Dimitris Mazarakis as a non-executive board member, effective immediately, the firm said in a statement on Tadawul.

 

Mazarakis has a vast experience in the insurance industry. He started working at MetLife since 1998. He served as CEO of MetLife Greece and was appointed lately General Manager of MetLife Gulf.  

 

The Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) has approved his appointment, yet it’s still pending the general assembly’s approval, the statement said.
