SAIC shareholders to vote on board dissolution, 7.5% cash dividend for 2021 on May 31
Saudi Advanced Industries Co.’s (SAIC) shareholders will vote on dissolving the existing board of directors upon request of a major shareholder, during an ordinary general assembly meeting (OGM) scheduled for May 31.
The major shareholder owns 5.09% of SAIC’s shares, the company said in a bourse filing.
The shareholders will also elect board members for the upcoming three-year term, starting from May 31, 2022, in case the board dismissal is approved.
Other agenda items include voting on the distribution of cash dividend at 7.5% of capital, or SAR 0.75 per share, for 2021.
