Saudi banks raise treasury bond holdings by SAR 6 bln in May

Saudi banks’ investments in treasury bonds increased by SAR 6.1 billion month-on-month to SAR 349.2 billion in May 2019, new data from the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) showed.

 

SAMA’s foreign assets rose SAR 45.5 billion for the month to around SAR 1.96 trillion.
