The Saudi cabinet approved today amendments to the Saudi Industrial Development Fund’s (SIDF) regulations issued back in March 1974, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The approval comes after reviewing the Council of Economic and Development Affairs (CEDA) and the Shura Council’s recommendations.

In today’s session, the cabinet appointed two members of the General Organization for Social Insurance’s board of directors.  Ahmed Abdullah Al Sheikh was appointed as a representative of CEDA, while Tareq bin Othman Al-Qasabi will be the business owners’ representative.
