The GCC Bureau of Technical Secretariat for Anti Injurious Practices in International Trade is currently investigating an anti-dumping complaint against GCC hydraulic cement imports, including clinker, from Iran, according to an official statement.
The GCC Bureau inspected the filed complaint, which indicated that the GCC markets were dumped with the cement product, noticing a discrepancy that cannot be overlooked between the cement prices in the foreign importing market and those of the exporter's domestic market.
These dumping practices hurt the GCC cement producers, leading to significant dumping margins, said Rehan Mubarak Fayez, Director General, of the GCC Bureau.
