Four international companies are deploying the 5G network across Saudi Arabia, Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported on Wednesday, citing unnamed sources close to the matter.

Those firms are China’s telecommunications giant Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd, Finland’s Nokia, the US-based CISCO Systems and Swedish telecom equipment anufacturer Ericsson.

Zain Saudi Arabia (Zain KSA) in May completed one of the first 5G calls in the region on its network, Argaam reported.
