8 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Thursday.

 

1) Savola Group has announced that it has completed the offering of a sukuk issuance at a par value of SAR 1 million by way of a private placement.

 

2) Alahli Takaful Co.’s shareholders will on August 1, 2019, approve the board’s recommendation on withholding dividend for FY ending Dec. 31, 2018.

 

3) The Nomu-listed Abdulla Saad Abo Moati For Bookstore Co.’s (Abo Moati) board of directors has approved the liquidation of its subsidiary, Mohamed Rashed Al Dowish for Trade.

 

4) Al Ahlia for Cooperative Insurance Co.’s shareholders are set to vote on a 23.13 percent capital cut to SAR 123 million from SAR 160 million, on August 5, 2019.

 

5) Jadwa REIT Al Haramain Fund will pay a 2.6 percent cash dividend for the first half of 2019, at SAR 0.26 per unit, amounting to SAR 17.16 million, fund manager Jadwa Investment said in a bourse statement.

 

6) Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co. (Solidarity) has inked a non-exclusive marketing agreement with Wattad Insurance Co.

 

7) Saudi Arabia's Capital Market Authority (CMA) has imposed a fine of SAR 10,000 on Allianz Saudi Fransi Co. and Saudi Industrial Export Co. (SIECO) each due to non-compliance with the capital market law.

 

8) Brent crude on Thursday gained 28 cents to reach $60.71/bbl, while WTI crude also increased 23 cents to reach $67.24/bbl.
