Saudi cabinet approves government tenders, procurement law

Saudi Arabia’s cabinet has approved the government tenders and procurement law, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Tuesday.

 

It comprises 97 articles which regulate the procedures related to business and procurement, and prevent abuse of power and personal interests to protect public funds as well as achieve best value for public money.

 

The new regulation was approved by the Shura Council last June, Argaam reported.
