Emaar unveils plans to build its first 3D-printed home in Dubai

Emaar Properties, Dubai’s largest developer, will build its first 3D printed model home in Arabian Ranches III, it said in a statement on Thursday.

The construction of the 3D print model home will be facilitated using a local contractor, it added.

“Emaar’s goal is to create a real estate landscape in the future where customers can “design, download and print’ their homes in the future across its master developments,” the statement said.

The 3D printing technology promotes sustainable use of resources as it reduces construction waste and noise pollution.

Arabian Ranches III, launched last year, will have a central park, a 4-km long boulevard, a lazy river and a range of outdoor sports facilities.
