Saudi Arabia closes SAR 5.2 bln domestic sukuk issuance

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Finance has closed its July 2019 sukuk issuance under the government’s riyal-denominated sukuk program, with an issuance size set at SAR 5.216 billion, it said in a statement.

 

The issuance was divided into three tranches as follows:

 

- The first tranche was valued at SAR 1.955 billion, bringing the total tranche size to SAR 5.805 billion, maturing in 2024.

 

- The second tranche was worth SAR 405 million, bringing the total tranche size to SAR 2.448 billion tranche, maturing in 2028.

 

- The third tranche amounted to SAR 2.856 billion, bringing the total tranche size to SAR 8.521 billion, maturing in 2034.
