Saudi Arabia and Senegal have signed an agreement to boost cooperation in air transportation services, Saudi Press Agency reported.

The signing took place in Jeddah between Abdelhadi bin Ahmed Al-Mansouri, head of the Saudi General Authority for Civil Aviation (GACA) and Alioune Sarr, Senegalese minister of tourism and air transport.

During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest and means of boosting cooperation between the two countries.

The agreement has many regulatory provisions guaranteeing among other things, air safety and aviation security, the report said.

“This reflects the efforts exerted by the Saudi government to improve and develop the Kingdom’s air transportation sector, and its commitments to providing facilities to pilgrims visiting the country,” it further added.
