Saudi Minister of Finance, Mohammed Al-Jadaan, said the International Monetary Fund's (IMF) statement on the Saudi fiscal reforms proves that the Kingdom has achieved a significant progress in implementing its fiscal reforms and restructuring plans, the Saudi Press Agency has reported.
He added that the aforementioned reforms have begun to yield fruitful economic results.
"The statement reflects the efforts exerted by the Kingdom at various levels," Al-Jadaan stated.
He also said that the government continuously strives to achieve its economic and fiscal goals in line with Saudi Vision 2030, which maintains the Kingdom’s financial stability, ensures high economic growth rates, supports economic diversification, as well as boosting the quality of life.
The International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) Executive Board on Monday said that Saudi Arabia’s reforms have started to yield results and the outlook for the economy is positive.
