Saudi banks’ treasury bond rise by SAR 47 bln in H1 2019

The investments of Saudi banks in treasury bonds increased by SAR 46.7 billion year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 351.6 billion in H1 2019, new data from the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) showed.

 

Saudi banks’ investments in treasury bonds also by SAR 2.4 billion month-on-month (MoM) in June 2019.

 

SAMA’s foreign assets declined by SAR 3.2 billion to around SAR 1.96 trillion in June 2019.
