Nomu market cap edges up 0.2% in July

Market capitalization of Nomu Parallel Market edged up 0.20 percent month-on-month (MoM) to SAR 4.57 billion in July 2019, according to monthly data released by Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).

 

The total value of shares traded surged 74.3 percent MoM to SAR 89.44 million.

 

Saudi investors bought SAR 85.69 million worth of shares, or 95.81 percent of the total buying transactions. They sold SAR 82.86 million in shares, or 92.65 percent of the selling transactions.

 

Saudi citizens’ ownership of total market capitalization rose 0.08 percent, accounting for 99.30 percent of total market capitalization in July.

 

GCC investors bought SAR 1.70 million in shares, or 1.90 percent of the total buying volume. They sold SAR 4.25 million in shares, representing 4.75 percent of the selling transactions.

 

GCC investors’ ownership also slipped 0.07 percent to 0.25 percent of the market capitalization last month.

 

Foreign investors bought SAR 2.04 million in shares, accounting for 2.29 percent of buying activity. They sold SAR 2.33 million in shares, or 2.60 percent of total selling activity.

 

Foreign ownership of Saudi stocks in July shed 0.02 percent MoM to 0.46 percent of the total market capitalization.
