Saudi Aramco to boost East-West pipeline capacity to 7 mbpd very soon, says official

Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (Saudi Aramco), the world's largest oil exporter, is expected to increase the production capacity of East West Pipeline from 5 million barrels per day (bpd) to 7 million bpd very soon, stated Khalid H Al-Dabbagh, Senior Vice President for Finance & Development at the company's H1 2019 results conference.

 

The East-West Pipeline, also known as the Petroline, is a 1200 km long pipeline that runs from the Abqaiq oil field in the Eastern Province to the Red Sea.
