The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) on Thursday said it has suspended trading on the shares of Alujain Corp. and National Agriculture Marketing Co. (Thimar) for one trading session on Thursday, Aug. 22.
The decision was made due to the non-compliance with the Capital Market Authority’s (CMA) deadline for disclosing Q2 2019 financial statements, the bourse said in a statement.
Both companies’ stocks will resume trading for 20 sessions starting Sunday, Aug. 25 while they are required to disclose their financials for the period before the end of Thursday, Sep. 19.
However, if any of the companies fail to disclose financial statements within the new deadline, the shares will be suspended starting from Sunday, Sept. 22, until disclosing the financial results for the period, the statement added.
Alujain and Thimar had announced earlier this week that they were not able to disclose financial results for the period ending on June 30 on time, according to data compiled by Argaam.
