Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Education aims to boost foreign investments in the private education sector over the coming period, Hanan Al Amer, undersecretary to the minister of education for private education, told Saudi TV Channel 1.

The ministry is updating all guidelines and legislations for investment in the Kingdom’s private education sector, in line with Vision 2030.

An education center was launched in partnership with Tatweer Education Holding Co. to facilitate investments in the local education sector.

In addition, the ministry is encouraging private education and offering more investment opportunities through various initiatives, particularly in kindergartens and nurseries across the Kingdom, Al Amer added.

Land plots are also being leased by the ministry in Riyadh for expansion in the private education projects, she concluded.
