Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Wednesday.
1) The second and final tranche of Saudi Arabia’s inclusion on MSCI Emerging Markets Index funds was implemented on Tuesday, Aug. 27, on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).
2) Al-Omran Industries & Trading Co. reported a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 1.89 million for H1 2019, down 59.3 percent year-on-year (YoY) on higher operating expenses and cost of financing.
3) Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries & Medical Appliances Corporation (SPIMACO) has signed a loan facility agreement at SAR 150 million with the Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF).
4) Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SPM) has inked on Tuesday an agreement to reschedule a SAR 26.5 million loan from the National Commercial Bank (NCB).
5) Brent crude on Wednesday gained 42 cents to reach $59.93 per barrel whereas WTI Crude also increased 54 cents to reach $55.47/bbl.
