There are 67 projects under-construction across the Kingdom, providing 122,000 apartments, villas and town houses, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported, citing Mamdouh Al-Sharhan general supervisor of real estate development at the Ministry of Housing.
Work has started at 55 projects, which provide 100,000 residential units, he said.
Under-construction projects are guaranteed to have the quality and scheduled implementation under the supervision of the Wafi program, he said on the sidelines of the launching event of Madinat Al-Wouroud project in Taif.
The project spans over 6.3 million square meters, and provides 4,775 villas at starting prices of SAR 499,000.
The housing ministry’s Sakani program said yesterday that it delivered in August ready villas at 24 projects across 10 Saudi areas.
