PwC has announced the launch of a new initiative titled “Hemam: Developing Future Saudi Leaders” to empower young Saudi leaders.
The main objective of the initiative is to retain, attract and develop Saudi talent across the Kingdom and ultimately encourage them to reach leadership positions within PwC.
In addition to the various existing development programs tailored to Saudi nationals, benefits include an added payment for travel, deferred reimbursements and bonuses to celebrate promotions and career milestones.
Hemam aims to fuel nationalization, enable Saudis to be fit for the future and lead balanced lives, Hani Ashkar, Middle East senior partner, said.
“This is a key priority for sustained growth and development for such a talent-rich market like Saudi Arabia," Ashkar added.
PwC has been operating in the Kingdom for over four decades. Almost half of the company’s staff are Saudi nationals.
“Hemam is one of the many ways in which we strive to contribute to Saudi society by attracting and fostering local talent and empowering them to fully take charge of their growth,” Riyadh Al-Najjar, KSA country leader, said in turn.
