Petro Rabigh says shortage in ethane gas supply will be 20%

Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Co. (Petro Rabigh) said shortage in ethane gas supply will be 20 percent, the company said in a bourse filing.

 

The shortage has no impact on reliability tests, and updates will be disclosed later, the statement added.

 

Terrorist attacks on Saudi Aramco’s facilities in Abqaiq and Khurais on Saturday had led to a temporary production halt.

 

Nevertheless, Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman said Tuesday that Saudi Arabia’s oil supplies have returned to their levels prior to the terrorist attacks.
