Foreign investments are a result of an enabling environment, political stability: Al Qasabi

Foreign investments are not an end in itself but a result of an enabling environment, as well as political and legislative stability, said Majid Al Qasabi, Minister of Commerce and Investment, and acting municipal and rural affairs minister.

Delivering a keynote speech at the 14th edition of Euromoney Saudi Arabia 2019, Al Qasabi also said that Saudi Arabia has worked on several mainstreams over the past years, including government restructuring, fighting bureaucracy, ensuring a legislative environment that protects investor’s rights, and bolstering fiscal reforms.

He stated that the Saudi franchise will be 'in force' in three weeks, stating that this step falls within the legislations that aim to boost investments.
