Saudi oil exports grow 2% in July: JODI

Saudi Arabia’s oil exports rose 2.4 percent month-on-month to 6.88 million barrels per day (mbd) in July 2019, according to the Joint Organizations Data Initiative (JODI).

 

Oil exports edged down 3.3 percent in July, when compared to the same month in 2018.

 

The Kingdom’s crude output dropped to 9.58 mbd in the same period, a drop of 2.1 percent month-on-month.

 

Crude local consumption fell 12 percent to 2.70 mbd from 3.06 mbd in the previous month.

 

Monthly export figures are provided by Saudi Arabia and other OPEC members to JODI.
