Credit Suisse names new CEO for Saudi Arabia

Credit Suisse announced today the appointment of Khalid Saleh Al Ghamdi as its new CEO and Executive Board member of Credit Suisse Saudi Arabia, effective Sept. 8 2019.

 

Ghamdi will be responsible for expanding Credit Suisse's investment banking and wealth management businesses in Saudi Arabia, in line with investment bank’s strategic priorities and its continued commitment to its operations in the Kingdom.

 

Ghamdi joins Credit Suisse Saudi Arabia after serving more than 15 years in the Kingdom’s capital markets. During this time, he has acted as advisor and arranger to some of the largest deals in the private sector and for government entities, including a number of successful IPOs in the Saudi market.

 

The appointment is still pending regulatory approvals, the statement said.
