Point-of-sale (POS) transactions in Saudi Arabia saw a 17 percent year-on-year (YoY) increase to SAR 22.56 billion in August 2019, figures from the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) showed.
Data showed that 133.9 million transactions were processed through nearly 401,900 points-of-sales in shopping malls, retail stores, and pharmacies.
