UAE-based Utico will be hiring employees in Saudi Arabia, as it embarks on an expansion drive, it said in a statement on Tuesday.

The company will be hiring 100 new employees in coming 12 months. Sixty of these hirings will take place in the UAE as its AED 750 million desalination facility in Ras Al Khaimah will come on stream in 2020.

The remaining hirings will take place in Saudi Arabia, Oman and Singapore.

“We see an exciting 12 months ahead with capacity expansions, forays into new markets in the region and beyond, and new projects, including significant developments in renewables supporting environment and cyclical economy,” said Richard Menezes, chief executive officer, Utico.
