Almarai appoints new audit committee member

Almarai Co. has appointed Saad bin Abdulmohsen AlFadly as an audit committee member following the resignation of Sultan bin Abdulmalek Al Alsheikh, the dairy producer said in a statement to Tadawul on Wednesday.

Alsheikh, who joined the audit committee on August 7, resigned on Oct.1, citing personal reasons. He will, however, remain as a member of the board of directors.

AlFadly will take over the responsibilities from today (Oct.2), the statement added.

The appointment will be presented for approval at the next general assembly meeting.
