SMEs’ share in government procurement increases to 26%: Monsha'at

The share of Saudi Arabia's Small & Medium Enterprises (SME) in government procurement increased to 26 percent, said Saleh Al Rasheed, governor of the Small & Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha'at).

 

He added, during his keynote speech at the 11th ministerial conference organized by the Council of Saudi Chambers in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Hail, that the SMEs authority aims at supporting enterprises to grow and compete within the local and global markets.

 

Al Rasheed also said that Monsha'at also seeks to pave the way for SMEs to benefit from “Foras Platform” through enhancing partnerships with related government entities.
