CITC says telecom complaints down 33% in Q2 2019

Saudi Arabia's Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) published a rating index for telecommunication service providers in terms of complaints received in the second quarter of 2019. 

 

The total number of complaints dropped 33 percent year-on-year (YoY) to 12,058 in Q2 2019.

 

Mobile phone services accounted for 8,538 complaints, followed by landline voice calls (3,520).

 

Mobile Telecommunications Company Saudi Arabia (Zain Saudi) accounted for the highest number of complaints of mobile services per 100,000 subscribers, while Saudi Telecom Co. (STC) recorded the highest number of complaints in terms of fixed line services per 100,000 subscribers.
