Saudi Arabia appoints new central bank deputy governor

Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz appointed on Thursday Ayman bin Mohammed Al-Sayari as deputy governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA), the Kingdom’s central bank, according to a royal decree.

 

Al-Sayari joined SAMA in 1999, and was appointed as a Deputy Governor For Investment in 2013. He holds a Master’s degree in business administration from George Washington University (GW).
