Saudi Arabian Airlines’ (Saudia) board of directors has appointed its board member, Sami Bin Ali Sindi, as Director General as of today, Oct. 24, 2019, the company said in a statement.
The decision came after the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, issued royal orders, including the exemption of Dr. Nabil bin Mohammed Al-Amoudi, Minister of Transport, and the appointment of Engineer Saleh bin Nasser bin Al-Jasser as Minister of Transport.
Al-Jasser served as Saudia’s director general since 2014.
