Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication Co. (GO) said that the administrative court in Riyadh has rejected its claim against Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) regarding the company’s request to receive unified telecom license.
The company said in a statement to Tadawul that the verdict will be delivered on Nov. 12, 2019, and the court has granted them 30 days from the date of issuing the decision to submit an objection.
The company also said it can’t assess the financial impact at this point.
The unified license allows operators to offer integrated telecom services including landline.
In August 2018, the company filed a lawsuit asking Riyadh’s administrative court to cancel CITC decision to reject GO’s request to get the unified telecom license.
