Saudi Arabia aims to enhance zakat, tax compliance by advanced technology: Al-Jadaan

Saudi Arabia is looking forward to enhancing tax and zakat compliance, and enriching the business sector through the use of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and Blockchain, Mohammed Al-Jadaan, Minister of Finance, said during the first Zakat & Tax Conference.

 

"The digital economy is undergoing accelerated developments. We aim to cut costs, enhance tax transparency and develop new tax systems for e-commerce," Al-Jadaan added.
