The National Center for Privatization (NCFP) announced today the signing of a privatization agreement for government healthcare center with Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) and Fakeeh Care.
As part of Saudia’s first privatization initiative, the strategic healthcare unit of the airline carrier will be privatized, which will allow it to focus on its key operations and turn to profitability.
It will also improve services through benefiting from the expertise of the strategic partner, as well as conduct a study to build a new hospital with a capacity of 100 beds.
The privatization of the unit will make it the largest aviation medical center in the Kingdom, approved by GACA and FAA, and will serve more that 15,000 pilots and crew members.
