Saudi Arabia takes over G20 presidency

Saudi Arabia has taken over the G20 presidency during the 20 nations foreign ministers meetings in Japan's Nagoya city on Friday.

 

Saudi Arabia's foreign minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, picked up the baton at a ceremony on Saturday in Nagoya, where G20 foreign ministers have gathered for talks.

 

Saudi Arabia is preparing to host the next G20 summit in November 2020.

 

Bin Farhan has welcomed the delegates of the other nations, and looked forward that 2020 will witness more work and communication, so that everybody can benefit of the sustainable development.

 

The G20 participants are leaders from 19 countries and the Europian Union (EU). The 19 countries are the US, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, Republic of South Africa, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, United Kingdom.
